Project Summary
The 15 MW solar power plant project, located in Sergelen Soum of Tuv Province, has been successfully implemented and commissioned.
As part of the project, solar panels rated at 320 W each were installed, along with the construction of a 10/110 kV substation and a 15 km, 110 kV overhead transmission line. Situated in the Khushig Khundii, the plant is capable of generating an average of 22.7 million kWh of clean electricity annually, resulting in significant environmental benefits:
- Reduction of 24,000 tons of raw coal consumption
- Savings of 147,000 m³ of water
- Substantial reduction of greenhouse gas emissions
This makes it a high-impact project contributing to sustainable and environmentally responsible energy production.
