Project Summary

The Oyu Tolgoi underground mine, located in Khanbogd soum of Umnugovi province, targets an average daily production of 95,000 tonnes of ore using the block-caving method. The Ore Handling System (OHS) comprises the facilities and infrastructure required to reliably and efficiently transfer ore from the production level to the haulage level through an approximately 30-meter ore pass.

Underground Mine – Production and Haulage Levels:

• Annual maintenance work for 4 stations, totaling 20 stations
• Repair and maintenance of station facilities

Underground Mine – Haulage Level, Panel 2:

• Installation of 8,812 meters of pipeline
• Construction of 3,564 meters of roadway

• Chute lip liner
