Project Summary

MCS International LLC and MCS Property LLC jointly won the tender to execute the “Critical Infrastructure Construction” works, which form part of the North Area Shaft 1 development under the first phase of the Oyu Tolgoi underground mine project. Following the award, the companies entered into a contract with Oyu Tolgoi LLC to undertake the works.

Within the scope of the project, the teams carried out the installation and construction of key facilities at the Oyu Tolgoi underground mine located in Khanbogd soum, Umnugovi province. These works included the crushing plant, fire and service water systems, maintenance center, explosives magazine, mine dewatering system, among other critical infrastructure.

The project encompassed the provision and management of all required manpower, equipment, tools, materials, services, and support necessary to complete the construction and installation works to the required standards.
