Project Summary

MCS International LLC served as the EPC contractor for the development of an 18 MW coal-fired power plant, built to support the Ukhaa Khudag coking coal deposit operated by Energy Resources LLC. More than 80 energy and construction companies and over 1,500 engineers and technical personnel contributed to the successful implementation of the project.

The plant not only supplies power to the Ukhaa Khudag mine and its supporting infrastructure but also provides a reliable electricity supply to the residents of Tsogttsetsii Soum in Umnugovi Province.
